In preparation for Advocacy Day, there will be a training webinar on Friday, March 19th at 2p.m. CST
There will be an informal reception the night before at Chelino's in Bricktown beginning at 5p.m. where we will have the chance to get to know each other.
On the morning of Wednesday, March 22nd at the Embassy Suites Medical Center we will have a refresher course over breakfast with Karen Nystrom, Advocacy Director of the National Financial Planning Association. Following breakfast, we will all go over to the Capitol and talk to our legislators about financial planning.
The object of our visit with our representatives and senators is to bring them to an understanding that although they may want to call a CPA for answers to financial questions, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM practitioner might often be a better option!

The Embassy Suites Medical Center has a $141 rate (AARP & AAA) or $149/”best” rate for March 21st.
