We will have Dr. Rick Farmer from Extra Point Productions to provide expert Oklahoma Insurance and CFP continuing education training. Dr. Rick Farmer is an innovative and award winning teacher with many years of practical insurance experience. He received a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Oklahoma and earned tenure at the University of Akron in Ohio, where he was a fellow in the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics. He was an innovative classroom instructor, pioneering video conferencing and instant student feedback software. He is the author of over 30 academic chapters and articles and the co-editor of four books. In 2004 he returned to Oklahoma to work in state government. Over the next ten years he served as a director of committee staff at the Oklahoma House of Representitives; the deputy insurance commissioner under John Doak; and, director of the Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Commission.

Dr. Farmer will be presenting Legislative Update 2015: What's New in Life and Health? This course focuses specifically on 2015 legislative and rule changes applicable to life and health. In addition, it examines the legislative process and identifies key policy makers.
